Description and Rationale
MKHR is a one-person team from Makuhari Development Corporation (Chiba, Japan), a small company working on open data pipelines and time-series analysis for energy and infrastructure. We have been using OpenSky ADS-B data for an aircraft-noise research project and would like to apply the same feature-engineering and gradient-boosting toolkit to airport surface operations. We joined the challenge to learn from the community, to publish our approach openly (code on GitHub, write-up for JOAS), and to build reproducible open models for taxi-out time prediction.
