Description and Rationale
Solo participant from Brazil. I am an independent developer learning data science and machine learning with Python, focusing on real-world prediction problems and competitions.
I registered for the PRC Data Challenge 2026 because taxi-out time prediction is a well-defined tabular problem built on real, open aviation data, and it is a great opportunity to practice feature engineering, gradient boosting models and time-based validation. I also value the open-science approach of the challenge: I plan to publish my code on GitHub under GPLv3 and share what I learn with the community.
