Description and Rationale
I am Abdourahamane Idé Salifou, an AI engineering student . I am especially interested in applying machine learning to optimization problems, where a model has to turn messy operational data into a prediction that can improve a real decision.
In December 2024 I placed first in the Abidjan Mobility Prediction Hackathon, powered by Yango on Zindi, predicting average traffic speed on Abidjan’s main roads. I joined the PRC Data Challenge 2026 to take that interest into aviation: predicting taxi-out time at 10 major European airports from open 2025 movement data, ranked by RMSE. Taxi-out time depends on layout, traffic, schedule and operations, so a better estimate can support tighter planning of departures, stands and runway use. My goal is developing a strong AI solution aiming to improve the operation itself fewer uncertain departures, tighter use of stands and runway time, and less delay not only to produce a score for leaderboard .
