Description and Rationale
I am an aerospace and systems engineering graduate student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with experience in aviation, data analysis, programming, simulation, and machine learning.
I registered for the PRC Data Challenge because it combines my interest in aviation with a practical operational problem: predicting aircraft taxi-out times. I want to investigate how open flight data, airport conditions, and traffic patterns can be used to build accurate and explainable predictive models.
This challenge is an opportunity to apply my technical skills to real-world aviation data, learn from the international aviation research community, and contribute an open and reproducible solution that others can study and develop further.
