Description and Rationale
I am a faculty member working in operations research. My primary research interest involves human-in-the-loop control and decision systems within the context of stochastic dynamics. I most enjoy working on projects involving the modeling, simulation, and analysis of air transportation systems. My past efforts include coupled pilot-control-aircraft models; aircraft blunder and anomaly detection systems; next-generation collision avoidance systems; safety analysis of NextGen concepts; and agent-based simulations of air transportation systems.
