Description and Rationale
We are a team of transportation and aviation data professionals with backgrounds in transportation engineering, data science, optimization, and aviation analytics. Our work involves using large-scale mobility and aviation datasets to better understand transportation systems, identify operational patterns, and develop data-driven approaches to planning and decision-making.
We decided to participate in the OpenSky Network PRC Data Challenge 2026 because it provides an opportunity to work with real-world aviation data on a challenging research problem and to explore analytical methods beyond our day-to-day project work. We see it as both a technical challenge and an opportunity to contribute to the growing use of open aviation data for research and practical decision-making.
