Description and Rationale
I am an ATM specialist and researcher interested in data-driven methods for aviation performance and sustainability.
I decided to participate in the PRC Data Challenge 2026 to explore the operational factors driving taxi-out times across European hubs. Tackling airport surface congestion and sequencing with open flight data offers a great opportunity to benchmark predictive models, support the PRC’s open data initiative, and exchange ideas with fellow aviation data practitioners.
