I am a high school student with a strong interest in engineering, aviation, and technology. I enjoy working with data, building models, and understanding how complex systems work. I am particularly interested in pursuing engineering in the future, and I see opportunities like this challenge as a great way to apply what I have learned to a real-world problem. I have always found air traffic control and aviation systems fascinating. Managing aircraft moving at high speeds, making decisions with limited time, and ensuring that a complex network operates safely and efficiently requires a combination of engineering, analytical thinking, and decision-making that I find extremely interesting.What especially attracted me to this challenge is the opportunity to combine that interest in aviation with AI and data science. I enjoy building models and working with data, and the idea of using real aviation data to predict taxi-out times feels like a meaningful engineering problem rather than just a theoretical exercise.
