Description and Rationale
I’m a final-year B.Tech student in Mathematics and Computing at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi, with a strong interest in applied machine learning, computer vision, and data-driven problem solving. I recently completed a technical internship at Microsoft India, where I worked on AI-driven tools involving evidence verification and proposal evaluation systems, and I’ve also worked on ML-based projects such as forest fire susceptibility mapping using XGBoost.
I registered for the PRC Data Challenge because it combines two things I enjoy — working with real-world operational data and building predictive models that solve genuinely useful problems. Predicting taxi-out times at major European airports is a great opportunity to apply time-series and ML techniques to aviation data at scale, while also contributing to EUROCONTROL’s open science and reproducibility goals.
