Description and Rationale
We’re a two-person team from Air Canada Flight Operations - one of us works in operations excellence and data validation, the other brings stronger data science/modeling experience. We registered because taxi-out time prediction is directly relevant to the operational and fuel-efficiency work we do day to day, and we saw this challenge as a great opportunity to apply that domain knowledge to a real, open dataset while growing our modeling skills. We’re looking forward to learning from the process, from other teams, and from the PRC/OSN community, and to contributing an open, well-documented approach.
