Description and Rationale
We are a team of NYU students with backgrounds in computer science, machine learning, software engineering, and data analysis. Our experience includes applied AI, research, data processing, and building practical technical solutions.
We decided to join the PRC Data Challenge because it brings together areas we are strongly interested in: machine learning, aviation, and real-world data. We see it as a great opportunity to apply what we have learned at NYU to a meaningful operational problem, experiment with different modelling approaches, and better understand the factors that influence airport taxi-out times.
We are also excited by the challenge’s open-science focus. We hope to build a strong and reproducible solution, learn from other teams, and contribute something useful to the wider aviation and data science community.
